Islamic Caliphate March with Taliban, ISIS, and Al-Qaeda Flags in Essen, Germany

In the city of Essen in western Germany, a march for the Islamic caliphate took place under the flags of the Taliban*, ISIS* and Al-Qaeda*. This was reported by the German Bild.

The night before, about three thousand Muslims marched through Essen, expressing solidarity with the residents of the Gaza Strip. They marched shouting “Allahu Akbar” under white and black banners with the Shahada written in Arabic script – the Islamic testimony of faith: the white flag is the banner of the Afghan Taliban *, the black one is ISIS * (IS *, “Islamic State” *) and Al- Qaeda”*, the publication writes.

450 police officers, called upon to maintain order, did not interfere with the march, the newspaper notes, but they checked for the presence of prohibited symbols.

According to Bild, the event was attended, among others, by supporters of the party Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami, banned in Germany. It “rejects parliamentary democracy, strives for the application of Sharia law and the establishment of the power of a global caliphate, as well as the destruction of the State of Israel through militant jihad,” as German intelligence services characterize the organization.

“There are tens, perhaps hundreds of thousands of radicals in Germany who not only reject our society, but also want to crush it. But instead of listening to the warning voices… they were at best ignored, and at worst criticized as racists and Islamophobes. Now we see the result… The caliphate, the creation of which is openly called for on posters in Essen, will become hell on earth for everyone who lives in it, especially for those whom the Islamists classify as “infidels,” predicts a Bild columnist Timo Lokoshat.
