Islam Makhachev vs Bobby Green was the main course at UFC Vegas 49. Islam win via TKO at the end of the first round!
UFC Vegas 49 took place at UFC Apex, Las Vegas, Sunday (27/2) morning WIB. The main event is a fight in the UFC lightweight class, Islam Makhacehv vs Bobby Green in a five-round fight.
Islam start the first round with a high kick and a leg kick. Both fighters seemed to play carefully at the beginning of the round.
Two minutes at the end of the first round, Islam was able to take down and control the ground and pound. Bobby Green trapped!
Islam dominates when you are at the top. Islam tried several times to do kimura, but Bobby still persisted.
Islam then launched a barrage of blows and Bobby became the butt. One minute 40 seconds remaining, referee Herb Dean stopped the fight and Islam was declared victorious via TKO.
“I’m training hard to win this fight. Next, I just want to fight for the championship belt,” said Islam Makhachev after winning.
