Islam Makhachev criticized by fighters UFC others, Dan Hooker. He said, Islam can only follow his style Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Islam Makhachev just won after defeating Thiago Moises at UFC Vegas 31 last weekend. Islam won by neck lock in the fourth round.
Even in UFC, Islam has won eight consecutive victories. Islam is believed to be capable of being a calculated fighter, as well as the successor of his cousin, Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Islam Makhachev is the cousin of the former UFC lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov. Both of them traveled to the United States to work in UFC in 2011.
Khabib also mentioned several times that Islam is his successor. Khabib believes Islam can be the champion in the world UFC lightweight.

“Look at his videos, he says everyone is afraid of him, the light class will be shaken, etc. Bro, you just follow Khabib’s style. Be yourself,” he told Submission Radio.
“He is indeed in a savage form at the moment, but he has lost before in the UFC. You are not an invincible Khabib,” said Hooker.

Islam Makhachev once lost to Adriano Martins on UFC 192 in 2015. Islam lost in the first round via TKO, after a hook hit his head.
“Islam does not have the same tone as Khabib,” said Dan Hooker.
“Then he now wants to face top-class fighters. For me, it’s just a joke,” concluded the New Zealand fighter who is ranked eighth in the UFC lightweight class.
