Mumbai: Bengaluru embarrassed in front of the locals with an unparalleled defeat at home. In front of the strong Mumbai team, the home side fell by four unopposed goals.

Mumbaikars started the scoring spree in the 11th minute of the game and filled the opposition net at regular intervals and shut down all the possibilities of Bengaluru’s comeback. Abdulnaser Alkhayali scored the first goal. Akash Mishra also scored in the 30th minute. George Pereira Diaz and Lalanzuala Changte completed the list in the second half as Mumbai went into the break with a two goal lead.

Although it seemed almost equal in the game and the opportunities, the huge failure to see the target was a disaster for Bengaluru. Goa leads the points table. Kerala Blasters are second and Mohun Bagan third. Mumbai stands at the fourth position and Bengaluru at the ninth position.
