Madgaon: Chennai FC thrashed ISL number one ATK Mohan Bagan in a goalless draw. If Chennai had been ahead in possession and passing, they would not have been able to score the winning goal alone.
While Chennai focused on defense, most of the attacks came from the Chennai side. ATK only hit the target once. ATKU Roy Krishna, who missed the opportunity, also suffered a setback. ATK goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya’s brilliant saves prevented Chennai from winning.

Dark teams and rough tactics put out the excitement of the match. With a draw, ATK topped the table with 17 points, while Chennai were seventh with 10 points from eight matches.

ATK defended Chennai’s attack by fielding five defenders. Only in the last 10 minutes did ATK make a significant effort to score the winning goal. In the 86th minute, Roy Krishna’s header went past Chennai goalkeeper Vishal but did not score. In the innings, Urumqi crossed the free cricket cross bar of Fatullo of Chennai.
