Iskele Municipality Health Unit will continue its visits to the Elderly People’s Week, which it started in Yarköy due to the 18-24 March Elderly Week, in İskele and 20 villages this week.
Routine health checks were also carried out in Yarköy, the first stop of the İskele Municipality Health Unit, which provides home health services to İskele and its 21 villages.
SADIKOĞLU: “PRAYER AND SHADOW OF OUR ELDERLY IS ENOUGH FOR US”
Iskele Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu also published a message for the 18-24 March Elderly Week. “The prayers and shadows of our elders are enough for us. Sadıkoğlu said, “May Allah not keep them away from us” and used the following expressions:
“Our elderly people are our most valuable assets that bridge the gap between yesterday and today, and enable us to carry our culture and values to the future. Our elders, with all their experiences, are our past that we can never deny. It is our future with the experience we take as an example. With this awareness, it is our primary duty to show the respect and love they deserve to our elders, who are the carriers of our national values and culture. On this occasion, I wish all our elders a healthy and happy life, I congratulate the 18-24 March Elderly Week of all our elders and kiss their hands with respect.”
