ISIS wife who fled to Syria and urged jihadists to attack United States says morality police punished her for wearing Nike sneakers

An ISIS wife who urged fanatics to “shed American blood” recounted how the terror group’s brutal moral police punished her for wearing Nike sneakers.

Hoda Muthana, 25, has been locked up in Syria’s sordid al-Hawl camp with her young son since the death cult disappeared and one day insists she could be a “model” American citizen.

His story is presented in a 90-minute documentary titled ‘The return: life after Daesh‘which premiered at the South by SouthWest Film Festival in Austin, Texas earlier this week.

Muthana fled her home in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2014 and made her way to battle-battered Syria where she then used social media to push for violence against the United States.

However, she claims that she quickly discovered that Daesh was nothing more than a “bloody sect that wanted to use Islam to gain more power … and more money”.

The young mother said she had hoped the caliphate would be a “happy place where Muslims help each other” but in reality it was “hell on Earth”.

And she recounted how the terror group’s tough morality police even berated her when they spotted her hot pink Nikes coming out from under her burka, reports the DailyMail.com.

According to the Counter Extremism Project, Muthana took part in ISIS’s vile propaganda and even urged jihadists in the United States to carry out deadly shootings.

After her first husband, an Australian jihadist, was killed in Kobani, she urged ISIS supporters to “come and go and spill all their blood, or hire a big truck and drive them everywhere.”

“Veterans, Patriots, Memorial Day, etc.… Kill them,” she added.

However, she insists that she has now seen the light and described ISIS’s murderous operations as “utter corruption (which) has ruined the lives of many people.”

The runaway said things hit an all-time high when her son was forced to eat weed for dinner.

She said, “I dropped everything and left. I got out, I just walked even though there was (explosive devices) and there was no way out.

“I went out with the Syrians just to save my child and me from famines and bombings and in this horrible way.

“I really regret it for the rest of my life and I wish I could erase. “

Muthana told documentary makers that she joined ISIS because she wanted to feel useful.

She said, “I felt like I was useless my whole life. And every website I visited (said) that the Syrians needed help and the Syrians were starving and the Syrians were going through some trouble.

“So I got really wrapped up in it and felt really bad as Muslims leaving them behind.

“I had what was called at the time, a Muslim Twittersphere. I suddenly became very upset.

“My mom and I didn’t have such a good relationship. And I thought I could improve it by being more religious because she is very religious.

“And I learned all of this on my own online. When you are brainwashed, you don’t realize it and get away with it. “

In the documentary, another ISIS wife asks Muthana what she would do first if she had the chance to return to the United States.

She jokingly replied, “Put me in a room with 10 burgers!” Processed cheese and chili on top… I ran out of food so badly. “

In 2019, we reported how his father claimed he was suing Donald Trump for his ban from America.

Ahmed Ali Muthana argued in the lawsuit in federal court in Washington that his daughter is an American citizen by birth and should be allowed to return to the United States with her infant child.

Muthana said she had a “meltdown” when the then president said he effectively banned her from returning to the country she considers home.

She said the harsh language made her feel like “I didn’t know what was going to happen to me.”
