The jihadist group Islamic State (ISIS) claims to be behind the bombing that killed at least 84 people in Kerman, Iran, near the grave of Quds Force Commander General Qaseem Soleimani on Thursday (4/1).

The death toll was revised down from about 103 a day after what Iranian authorities called a “terrorist attack” on the fourth anniversary of the death of the general killed in a strike by a US drone in Baghdad four years ago.
ISIS’s claim came as Iran marked a national day of mourning for those killed in the blast.
Indonesia is Ready to Defend Palestine at the International Court of Justice through the UN
Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi said Indonesia was ready to support Palestine in the International Court of Justice (ICJ) trial through the United Nations (UN).
Retno said that Indonesia would defend Palestine by providing arguments in the process of forming an advisory opinion regarding Palestine at the ICJ.
An advisory opinion is a legal opinion given by the ICJ at the request of an agency or country such as the UN. Advisory opinions are not legally binding, but can have significant political and legal influence.

Foreign Media Highlights How Anies Attracts Young Voters Using ‘Using Anies’
Singapore Media Channel NewsAsia (CNA) highlighting one of the strategies of presidential candidate number 1 Anies Baswedan to attract the votes of voters from the younger generation in the 2024 presidential election with the “Desak Anies” program.
According to this news portal from neighboring Indonesia, Anies was able to use his expertise and background as an academic and former university rector to convince residents, especially young people, that he was a potential leader who was willing to dialogue with the people directly.
CNA also considers that the Urge Anies program is able to give the impression that Anies is not a leader who is afraid and anti-criticism from society.
