They dance, sing, do theater, take pictures, discover the sculptures installed on the campus … And thus forget a little the health crisis and the loneliness it causes.

“An uninhibited approach, without constraints”
Unlike the workshops that are usually offered by the culture department of the UGA, there is no time limit for monitoring and no objective of making a project a reality: “We want it to be an immediate benefit. . The student can come on a Saturday but not the next. It’s a really uninhibited, unconstrained approach, ”explains Vanessa Delfau. One way to capture as many students as possible. “Especially the first years and foreign students, those who feel the most isolated”, specifies the director.
Each course is led by a professional and allows, according to Vanessa Delfau, beyond the conviviality, to have “a real letting go”. Because all the students who participate are far from their screens and their distance lessons. “We have young people that we don’t usually see. These workshops can also help to make our actions better known. Sports courses are also offered by the University.
In addition, Vanessa Delfau intends to maintain the annual cultural festival, probably partly digital. And a digital stage will be offered from Thursday 11 February with concerts recorded from the University and broadcast on Facebook.
