Isak Vural: Benfica Return and Interest from Ronaldo’s Valladolid – Update 2021

Isak Vural has been linked with a return to Benfica. The news is reported by the Swedish newspaper Expressen, which also reports on the interest of Valladolid — a Spanish second division club, whose president is Ronaldo, the Phenomenon — in the player.

The 17-year-old midfielder, who currently represents Hammarby (he is waiting to make his debut in the main team), was very close to joining the red club in 2018 — he even joined the youth team, after arriving in 2017 —, but, at the time, FIFA regulations prevented the Eagles from signing the player.

Isak, who represents Turkey’s youth teams (although he was born in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden), joined Fenerbahçe in 2021, having ended up returning to Hammarby after little use. This year, the attacking midfielder has three goals and one assist for Hammarby TFF, the club’s B team, which plays in the Swedish third division.
