The corona endemic has presented a number of challenges, including for television productions. Recordings have been postponed and canceled over the past six months, and the production companies have introduced comprehensive infection control measures to keep the programs alive.
“Senkveld”, with presenters Helene Olafsen (30) and Stian Blipp (30) at the helm, has also had to adapt to the pandemic, and returned to the screen earlier this autumn.
The broadcasts take place as usual in the well-known studio with several celebrities on the guest list – albeit with a good distance on the sofa.

Tested positive
Last week, among others, Marte Stokstad stopped by, as did the 21-year-old artist Kaleb Isaac Ghebreiesus, better known as Isah. The latter performed his new single “Blitz”, and has shared several photos from the visit on Instagram.
In retrospect, Dagbladet has received confirmation from the artist’s manager, Philip Ruud, that Isah has tested himself for corona after the interview. The positive test result was clear on Wednesday.
No one else was infected
TV 2’s program editor, Kathrine Haldorsen, tells Dagbladet that they follow infection control rules very closely, which is clearly communicated to both employees, the audience and actors in advance of each recording.
– It is true that a participant in the program and the person’s assistant have been shown covid-19 after the recording on Thursday. Our routines have proven to work well, and the two who have been diagnosed with the infection are in a relationship outside of “Senkveld”, she writes in an e-mail.
Review: Set fire to the audience
– Two people were close to those who have been diagnosed with the infection. Both have tested for covid-19 afterwards, and the results of these tests were negative, she concludes.
The next program will be recorded as planned this week.
Success year
Isah did great with the collaboration with the rap duo Karpe last year, and was also responsible for one of 2019’s biggest hit songs – “Hello”. He also received two Spellemann Awards for last year – for urban and this year’s breakthrough.
This year was thus to follow up the 21-year-old’s success, but due to the corona in particular, festival jobs and other plans were ignored.

He talks about this in the podcast of the sisters Else and Ramona Kåss Furuseth. However, the episode is recorded in advance, and is therefore not affected by the positive coronate test.
– Instead of being “the one who was with Karpe”, I should get my name out as an established artist with the festival summer and the concerts I should have, he says in the podcast.
