Over a million people have subscribed to the Y-Collective YouTube channel. The format consists of a large number of reports produced by young journalists. The topics are very diverse: the 22-year-old who wants to be sterilized. The daughter who has to take care of her mother who has dementia. The child who refuses to go to school. Funk’s Y collective addresses all of this – and much more – in its videos and shows quite offensively that it does not want to comply with the principles of quality journalism.
