This makes Nikkie de Jager the winner, Jeroen Kijk in de Vegte de Mol and Tygo Gernandt the losing finalist. Nikkie has won the pot of € 12580 with the profit. The highlight for Nikkie? “That even my mother doubted me”, she said just before the denouement. She donates the prize money to the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF).

Wie is de Mol? an immensely popular program on Dutch television. Especially for this anniversary season, AVROTROS made a series with only former participants. The ten candidates were given a second chance for the first time in the history of the program. An opportunity that Nikkie de Jager, who has been a big fan of the program for years, did not have to think long about it.

Second time
The YouTube star could also be seen in the 2019 season, but soon left voluntarily so that she could be with her terminally ill brother. Her little brother Mikai died not long afterwards at the age of fourteen from a rare form of cancer. So she grabbed the second chance with both hands. “I left Colombia for my little brother. I won this season thanks to my little brother. So I’m going to donate everything to the KWF”, she said during the final.

Nikkie played the game with dedication. She often behaved suspiciously, was sometimes a bit lazy during the assignments and occasionally came out fiercely or boldly. So many people were convinced that she had to be the Mol. That turns out not to be the case, but she knew very well what she was doing and cleverly exposed De Mol. Nikkie was the only candidate who caught De Mol during the first episode, when Jeroen ‘secretly’ came to steal a green exemption behind her back.
