Will the “trans-Ukrainian” TV presenter Ivan Urgant return to Channel One? There are several factors that can give hope to his Russophobes: reports Pravda.Ru.
At the end of December 2023, his colleague Konstantin Anisimov hinted at Ivan’s return to Channel One with a post on the social network: “We are preparing another sensation here. Wait for December 30, 2023.”
But the sensation never materialized.
In February 2024, Urgant will turn 50 years old. This is a serious anniversary, and many believe that Ivan will want to celebrate it on television. This is another reason to wait for Urgant to return to the team Konstantin Ernst.
Urgant, who during his time working on Channel One often demonstrated his disdain for Russia and the Russian world, and after the start of the SVO fled to Israel, really wants to return to television. However, the final decision will depend not only on Urgant himself and the management of Channel One. The key role belongs to the public, which does not want to forgive Urgant for his trans-Ukrainian position during the Northern Military District.
