Jeremy Renner’s role as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye will continue in the series Hawkeye which will come. Just like Scarlett Johansson getting a solo movie Black Widowhis, Marvel Studios also decided to give Renner a solo show Hawkeye which will go into more depth about Clint Barton’s background. However, ahead of the broadcast, so far the story Hawkeye still shrouded in mystery.
Apart from Renner, serial Hawkeye will mark Haile Steinfeld’s debut as MCU’s Kate Bishop. While it is reported that Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh) will hunt Clint in the Hawkeye series later, it is not yet clear who will be the main villain. There is one rumor that has been heard quite a lot lately, namely the rumor about Kate Bishop’s mother who might be the main villain in the series Hawkeye, as Madame Masque.
Rumor Madame Masque
It was reported at the end of 2020 that the character Madame Masque would appear in the series Hawkeye which will come. If so, it’s likely that Marvel Studios will adapt a version of the character Giuletta Nefaria, who is the daughter of crime syndicate leader Luchino Nefaria. However, so far there has been no news confirming that Madame Masque will actually appear. If you look at the Marvel Studios series tradition of revealing the real villains at the end of the series, it’s possible that the same applies to Madam Masque to make Hawkeye’s story more surprising.
Eleanor Bishop give Madame Masque
If Madame Masque was in Hawkeye, then it is possible that the character is actually Kate Bishop’s mother Eleanor Bishop (Vera Farmiga). Eleanor doesn’t have a big role in Marvel Comics, and while the series Hawkeye could have increased his involvement in Kate’s life. It makes sense that Eleanor will become an important character in the series later. Given the sizeable name Varmiga, it’s unlikely that Eleanor’s character will only play a minor character, and the most likely scenario is to reveal that Eleanor is Madame Masque.
Eleanor and Madame Masque are already in a relationship at Marvel Comics. In the comics, Kate, who believes that her mother is dead, is shocked to learn that Eleanor is still alive and orders Madame Masque to attack Kate. Serial Hawkeye could have streamlined the story by turning Eleanor into Madame Masque. Makes the character Eleanor and Madame Masque have a stronger connection to the Hawkeye story as a whole.
Rencana Madame Mask
Combining Eleanor Bishop and Madame Masque into one character could create some interesting possibilities for her role in the series Hawkeye later. Giuletta Nefaria’s version of Madame Masque has ties to a criminal syndicate called Maggia, and in the comics, Kate Bishop’s father is known to be in business with the criminal syndicate. This could potentially bring Magia to the MCU through the Kate Bishop family. With Magia and Madame Masque, super villain groups like Master of Evil also have the potential to appear in the MCU in the future.
Serial Hawkeye can also link Madame Masque/Eleanor’s story to recent MCU events, namely The Snap Thanos and The Blip Hulk. It’s possible that Eleanor was among the people The Snap erased from existence. If he did have a relationship with Magia, his absence for five years would cause someone else to take his place.
