Is this Samsung’s first mobile phone with 5 rear cameras?

KOMPAS.com – Samsung called in the middle of preparing a smartphone new which has five camera back. Smartphone reportedly will be included in the Galaxy A line.

According to South Korean media reports, The Elec, this phone is said to be named Galaxy A72 and fall into the upper middle category. Industry sources say the Galaxy A72 is targeted to launch in the first half of 2021.

According to sources, the phone will have a 64 MP rear camera configuration, camera ultra-wide 12 MP, 8 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, 5 MP macro, and depth sensor 5 MP.

The Galaxy A72 will reportedly carry a camera selfie single with the same configuration as its predecessor, namely 32 MP. In addition, Samsung is predicted to equip the Galaxy A72 with OIS features.

If the leak is true, the Galaxy A72 will be the first cellphone made by Samsung to have five rear cameras.

Apart from the rear camera, it is not certain what the other specifications are. However, the Galaxy A72 is expected to carry similar specifications to the Galaxy A71.

For information, the Galaxy A71 which was released a few months ago carries as many as four cameras on the back.

Samsung seems to deliberately bring this feature as a strategy to increase sales smartphone in terms of Galaxy A, as well as a step in anticipating the decline in sales of flagship smartphones that occurred amid the pandemic.

By bringing penta-chamber (five rear cameras), Samsung is predicted to be better prepared to compete with vendors smartphone other. Cellphones with five rear cameras are not new.
