SERAMBINEWS.COM, LHOKSEUMAWE – Since the beginning of 2021 until now, there have been two eclipses.

Two eclipses that have occurred, namely: Moon eclipse Total on 26 May 2021 A.D. or 15 Syawal 1442 H and Solar eclipse Ring, 10 June 2021 A.D. or 29 Syawal 1442 H.

So, is there still an eclipse happening in 2021? Here are the results of the study Astronomy.

Lecturer Astronomy Department of Islamic Astronomy, Faculty of Syariah, IAIN Lhokseumawe, Tgk Ismail Is, on Friday (23/7/2021), explained, according to the study of astronomy, throughout 2021, there were four eclipses. “Two times have taken place. So there are still two more eclipses,” he said.

The two eclipses that will occur are Moon eclipse Partial, on 19 November 2021 AD or 15 Rabiul Akhir 1443 H and Solar eclipse Total, December 4, 2021 AD or 29 Rabiul Akhir 1443 H.

However, Tgk Ismail confirmed that two more eclipses that will occur at the end of 2021 will not be witnessed in Aceh.

The reason, Moon eclipse Partial, 19 November 2021 AD or 15 Rabiul Akhir 1443 H cannot be seen in Aceh, because when the eclipse occurs, the sun has not set in Aceh.

Next, Solar eclipse In total, December 4, 2021 AD or 29 Rabiul Akhir 1443 H, was not seen in Aceh because the gethama incident occurred at the South Pole.

To be known, an eclipse is the event of the obstruction of light from one source by another object, such as the obstruction of sunlight by the moon which causes a solar eclipse and the obstruction of sunlight by the earth which causes a lunar eclipse.
