In recent years, several articles have been published every year about the fact that it is only a year or two before the European Union will finally end the time change. Compared to this, summer time will still end on October 29 this year, and with that, we will have to “wind” our clocks again.
In 2019, the European Parliament decided to abolish summer and winter time, but somehow the member states could not agree on this, there was a conflict between neighboring countries to stay with winter or summer time “forever”. To put it mildly, the issue was pushed into the background first by the coronavirus epidemic and then by the war in Ukraine. Fortunately, smartphones and smartwatches already do this, so we “only” have to deal with the physiological difficulties of the transition. That is, with possible fatigue and the fact that somehow everything is “at a different time” than we are used to. However, those who go to a party on Saturday, October 28, can also think of it as an extra hour of rest the next day after spending the night…
