Where The Princes and the Press delved into the relationship between Princes William and Harry with the media, the podcast focuses on the great interest in the latter and his wife. However, the documentary received hundreds of complaints from viewers who felt the portrait was too negative about the British royal family.
The royals were angry themselves. They had asked the BBC if they could see the episodes in advance, but the broadcaster had not responded. For that reason, the relationship between the BBC and the family is said to have been disrupted and the Christmas concert that William and Catherine are organizing at the end of this month can be seen on commercial ITV.
It is not clear when the podcast about Harry and Meghan will be online. The BBC says it is still being worked on and that it will appear when it is ready.
