Is the virus spreading again in Aisne and Marne?

Yet another return of Covid-19 this fall? Public Health France warns in its latest vigilance bulletin of a resumption of the circulation of the virus in France. “All indicators for all ages were increasing in the city and in the hospital,” notes the agency in its report of September 25. This recovery also seems to be confirmed in our departments.

The rate of medical procedures for suspected Covid-19 is indeed increasing in Aisne, according to the latest data Public Health France. Between September 16 and 22, 318 out of 10,000 medical procedures concerned the virusaccording to figures from SOS Médecins. They were “only” 205 per 10,000 the previous week. Among 65-74 year-olds, the rate of medical acts rose to 370 per 10,000 the week of September 16.

The rate of medical procedures for suspected Covid is increasing in Aisne but is not comparable to those in other Picardy departments. Last week it reached 445 per 10,000 in the Somme, 847 in the Oise.

And in the Marne?

In the Marne, the latest data from SOS Médecins goes back to the week before, from September 9 to 15. The association counted 253 medical acts per 10,000 for suspected Covid, almost a hundred more than the first week of September (164 per 10,000).

Vaccination campaign on October 15

If you experience symptoms, Public Health France once again recommends applying barrier gestures: washing regularly, wearing a mask, etc. The autumn vaccination campaign which concerns those aged 65 and over as well as people at risk of severe form will be launched on October 15.

SOS Médecins data is not available in the Ardennes.
