In ancient Greek myth, the rainbow is also called the connecting road between heaven and earth. While in Indonesia itself, the most popular myth is that rainbows are formed from the shawls of angels who come down from heaven to bathe in the river.
Apart from these myths, there is a fact that it turns out that the rainbow phenomenon only exists on earth, not on other planets.

Reported from treehugger.com, Earth is the only planet in the Solar System that has a rainbow. This is because the Earth meets all the requirements to create a rainbow, namely the presence of rain in liquid form and sunlight.
And these two conditions are not shared by other planets in the Solar System. Sunlight can indeed reach the planets Mercury, Venus, Mars and other planets in the Solar System. Unfortunately the seven planets do not have water let alone rain to spread the light that can create rainbows.
The rainbow can’t be predicted when it will come. But for sure, we can find it opposite to the existence of the sun. (go/fin)
