Is the next generation version of Cyberpunk 2077 on target?

CD Project RED is no longer far from releasing versions designed for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series from Cyberpunk 2077 (as the new consoles have so far run the PlayStation 4, Xbox One edition backwards…).

A Twitter account running PlayStation Game Size informed us about the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 PlayStation 5 on the PlayStation Network backend (with a new box image, shown below), which means that the Polish company is no longer far from launching the next-generation version it so desperately needs. there’s the CD Project because (and let’s not go wrong, let’s say) the inside-view adventure in Night City started in a scandalous state at the end of 2020, and the consoles were shockingly disaster-stricken with performance, and PCs got so many bugs, which may not have been an example since Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness…

Even if we search for the image, we don’t get much hits outside of the press, which suggests that this will be the wallpaper for Cyberpunk 2077 on the PlayStation 5 dashboard, so you don’t have to pay to upgrade it if you already have the PlayStation 4 edition. we have. (Neither the Xbox One> Xbox Series nor the PC upgrade will taste anything. Sony would have something to learn from this, but they would rather ask for $ 10 / € 3,600 for their Director’s Cuts.)

Back in October, the CD Project announced that the next-generation versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (which were then all dated to 2021) would only be released later. Cyberpunk 2077 (: Samurai Edition?) Will receive the new release in the first quarter, the end of March, according to Poles, so the appearance of the PlayStation Network also seems logical. We still have to wait for Geralt’s facelift to be done by Saber Interactive (they also brought together the seemingly impossible Nintendo Switch port…): a version that also includes DLCs expanding with Netflixes content in the second quarter of the year (April-June) fog to appear.
