A final nuclear deal with Engie on the extension of the two youngest nuclear reactors, Doel 4 and Tihange 3, has not yet been reached. According to our information, the negotiations are still ongoing. But that agreement now appears to be no further off: the federal government’s central cabinet will meet at 3.30pm to discuss the text and – if possible – ratify it abruptly.
