Stefan Raab’s comeback is imminent. Next Saturday he will box against Regina Halmich. The entertainer has now posted a video of himself.
There is a lot of excitement. Stefan Raab’s comeback is coming up in eight days. The entertainer has only been active behind the scenes since his last public TV appearance on December 19, 2015 – now he wants to return to the big TV stage with a boxing match against Regina Halmich. RTL will broadcast the exchange of blows between the two on September 14.
Now, exactly eight days ago, a video was published on Raab’s official Instagram account. It shows a corpulent man doing boxing training. He hits a punching bag with great effort. Completely sweaty and out of breath, he then does push-ups. Suddenly another person appears and speaks to him: “More energy please,” says the female voice. It is apparently the influencer Pamela Reif.
Stefan Raab calls her a “coach” and replies: “I don’t think that will help. I think I’ll call Pamela Reif.” A joke that Reif answers with: “Stefan: I’m Pamela Reif.” She then makes it clear to the 57-year-old that she can’t “do magic” and that only one person can help now: “the doctor.” This is how the short clip ends.
But Raab’s appearance is likely to be of particular interest. In the video, he appears massively overweight. It seems as if the presenter is wearing a so-called fat suit – a suit that deliberately makes him appear fatter. This is fueling the rumors surrounding Stefan Raab. He has withdrawn from public life since 2015 and hardly anyone knows how fit he is.
Neither did his opponent Regina Halmich. She announced in advance that she was preparing meticulously for the fight – and revealed that she had no information about how athletic Stefan Raab was at the moment.
