Jamal concluded his speech by pointing out that there are other benefits that taro provides to patients with high blood pressure other than enhancing cardiovascular health, the most prominent of which are:

1- Strengthening the immune system, because it contains many antioxidants, which make the body more able to combat bacteria and viruses.

2- Preventing constipation, as it is rich in dietary fiber, which contributes to improving bowel movement and facilitating the digestion and excretion processes.

3- Weight loss, due to its low calories, in addition to the ability of its dietary fibers to keep the stomach full for long hours.

4- Controlling blood sugar, because its dietary fiber helps slow the absorption of carbohydrates in the intestine.

5- Preventing anemia, as it is rich in iron, which works to produce red blood cells, which are responsible for sending oxygen to all parts of the body.

6- Promoting the health of the central nervous system, because it provides the body with a good dose of vitamin B complex.
