Do you think around NOK 10,000 is still too much for an RTX 40 graphics card? Now there are alternatives on the way.
8000 and 6000 kroner?
The RTX 4070 ti costs around NOK 10,000 for the cheapest models. From there, the jump is around NOK 5,000 more for the RTX 4080 and a jump from around NOK 15,000 to just over 20,000 for the cards with the best chip, the RTX 4090.
But fortunately, the 4060 and 4060 ti are on the way, and we can probably expect these cards to at least dip down to the NOK 8,000 figure – maybe a little over NOK 7,000? At least for the ti model. The RTX 4060 may be available for around NOK 6,000, but that will be speculation.
These should be the specifications
It is Wccftech who believes that the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti AD106-350 and RTX 4060 AD107-400 115W GPUs will be launched in May, i.e. in about a month.
The stage is also set for the RTX 4070 launch, and it is supposed to happen already during April. There aren’t many days left.
4060 ti is expected to be equipped with:
- 34 SM – 4352 CUDA cores
- 8 GB GDDR6 RAM @ 18 Gbps
- 128-bit bus interface
- 288 GB/s bandwidth
- 32 MB of L2 caching – an 8x increase compared to the RTX 3060 ti
- TDP: 150 to 160W
4060:
- 3072 CUDA cores
- 8 GB GDDR6 RAM @ 18 Gbps
- 128-bit bus interface
- 288 GB/s bandwidth
- 24 MB with L2 buffering
- AD107-400-A1 (same as laptop version)
- TDP: 110W to 115W
