Miro claims to have been happily married for 6 years now, but in reality there are no official documents in Bulgaria that prove that he has ever contracted a real marriage. This was stated by a source of “Weekend”. According to the documents, the singer was still a bachelor and the ceremony he performed on the island of Corfu in the summer of 2016 was an ordinary celebration with no legal value.
Miro’s wife, Eli Zlatanova, is not actually his wife before the law. Their marriage was concluded only in a Greek temple and was never legalized in our country, the publication notes. This means that in the eyes of the indigenous authorities, Miroslav Kostadinov, as is the full name of the star, and his alleged legal partner Elitsa, have no family ties.
The source said the two were not in love, but a very strong friendship. When they decided to get married in a Greek temple, they had known each other for 11 years and had a long-distance relationship. Ellie, who grew up in Pernik, is known for being a restaurateur in London and Miró benefited from her financial support long before he took her to church on the Greek island.
The singer invented the fake marriage because of his family: his mother, his father and his sister Deanna. According to the publication, he did not dare to admit to his relatives that he actually did not intend to get married. His family was very upset by rumors that he preferred the company of men to that of women.
Over the years, the name of the star has been associated with many names of popular representatives of the stronger sex, and her parents and sister were very sensitive on this topic. To appease them, the musician decided to have a wedding, which however is not recognized by law in our country.
Some go so far as to claim that there wasn’t even a fake wedding, just a wedding photo shoot. Even after showing photos from the ceremony, Miro said her parents met Eli on the wedding day. The bride was late for the ceremony, it was not clear if she had given up.
However, when she appeared, everyone breathed a sigh of relief and at the party, the groom’s father danced with the bride and cried with excitement. Even then, however, Miro did not hide that her marriage had no value in Bulgaria. She admitted that it was only contracted in a Greek temple, which means that it is only legal in Greece.
It is strange that he chose an Orthodox church, as he himself is a Protestant, but that does not change the fact that marriage is worthless in the eyes of the law. To recognize it in Bulgaria, the spouses had to sign at the Bulgarian consulate in the country or sign directly in our country.
