Barca vice Rafa Yuste announced at a club event on Friday that he wants to bring the 35-year-old Argentine back to Barcelona. The Spanish media reported unanimously.
What does Barça coach Xavi say?
He would be happy to return. Xavi himself played alongside Messi for a number of years. The coach apparently already has plans where Messi should play should he return: not up front but in a deeper midfield position. The star striker has also spoken to Barça about a possible return, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Messi back to Barca – how safe is that?
It’s hard to say at the moment, but it’s known:

- PSG want to extend contract
- Clubs like Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia) and Inter Miami (USA) are also interested
