Ding dong! 17 days from the end of the regular season, we learned this evening that LeBron James could soon return to the courts. And given the current Western Conference standings frenzy, let’s just say that’s pretty good news for the Lakers.
Almost a month that we have not seen LeBron James on the floor, since a not really ideal foot injury in these difficult times for the Lakers. The month of February had been marked by a historic record and then the All-Star Game, and during the month of March LBJ will therefore have been obliged to follow the galleys of his team from the bench. But let the fans be reassured, the leader of the Angelinos will soon be back to try to be the hero of the story.

There are nine games left to date, nine games for the Lakers, nine games to save a season that got off to a bad start. Sixth place is still in sight but the twelfth is not so far away, and in any case it will take more than one LeBron to get the play-in or Playoffs sesame. Three games today separate the Suns’ fourth place from the Pelicans’ twelfth place so place your bets and dear Lakers fans: pray to God LeBron.
Next week maybe not, more likely the last? On the program for this one the Rockets, the Clippers, the Suns and the Jazz twice, and LeBron will not be too much for this final push. Because something tells us that the qualifying could well be played on the last evening, during a Sunday April 9 which promises to be hot.
