TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Pluto kicked its status from the planet of the sun, it only became a dwarf planet (dwarf planet) that orbits the sun.
However, there is a group of scientists who want the International Astronomical Union (IAU) to classify Pluto as a planet in Solar system.
Going back in time, Pluto was known as the 9th planet in Solar system.
But only lasted until the International Astronomical Union (IAU) downgraded Pluto’s status as a dwarf planet.

This caused controversy in which not a few scientists agreed with the decision.
Quoting from The Science Times, the IAU says that Pluto only met two planetary criteria, and was therefore downgraded.
However, protests about Pluto this still continues today.
In its latest protest, a group of scientists want the IAU to reclassify Pluto as a planet along with the moons in Solar system and other cosmic bodies that meet the definition of a planet used in the 16th century.
