A confident participant answered a question of Niki Kanchev even before he had lined up the answers and bet his life.
“Are you sure about all that you say? What are you betting?”, mockingly addressed the cult host of “Get Rich” Niki Kanchev to the impatient man.
After Niki asked the question: “Who is the last football champion of Bulgaria before the hegemony of Ludogorets begins”, Dr. Georgi Minev jumped in before Kanchev had read the possible answers and categorically declared that the correct answer was “Litex”.
“CSKA 2008, Levski 2007 and Lokomotiv Plovdiv 2004! 1000 percent! I bet my life”Minev snapped.
“I will have to kill you and then operate on you. Levski became the champion in 2009. Go away”
Georgi is an orthopedic doctor at the largest hospital in Bulgaria “St. Georgi” in Plovdiv. He secretly dreams of starting a job in the Premier League in England to be close to his favorite football team, Chelsea.
Despite his outstanding knowledge of football, his pride clearly irritated Kanchev and he was ready to kick him out even for the smallest mistake.
