Remember last June when Xbox held a showcase where it promised that each of the games on display would be in our hands within 12 months? For the most part, the gaming giant has kept that promise, but it’s also been shown that it was less of a guarantee and more of a hope with some projects like Starfield.
Hollow Knight: Silksong is another of the games shown at the event, which is not yet expected to be released until June 12 this year. Fans in one recent ResetEra poll were asked if they expected to see the game around or before that date, and an overwhelming 90% said they had lost hope.
It’s clear to see why many fans hoping for a sequel are losing hope, as we haven’t seen or heard anything concrete about Hollow Knight: Silksong in months. There is still an expectation that it will be released this year, but there is still a thought among some that the game could be shadow-dropped in a similar vein to Tango Gameworks’ Hi-Fi Rush. However, this may be too much copium huffing.
When do you think Hollow Knight: Silksong will be released?
