The case of the “Oops I did it again” singer has been making headlines for years. Because although she is already 39, she has lived under the tutelage of her father, Jamie Spears (68), since 2008.
Now her fans believe once again that Britney is calling for help in encrypted form: A photo of a Scrabble board recently appeared on her Instagram account, and her followers seem to agree that there is a secret message hidden in it.
In the picture, words like “cake”, “limit” or “sins” can be read (in the original “cakes”, “edge” and “sins”). But invented terms without meaning can also be found among them, for example “sodeln” or “abirv”.
The 39-year-old writes under the post: “Can you discover words that aren’t words at all? Sometimes it’s fun to think up some!”
Sounds like a harmless board game evening at Spears. But the photo doesn’t leave her 28.2 million Instagram followers alone. You suspect there is more to it than that.
“Someone has to decrypt the secret message, please,” comments one user. Another adds, “I’m sure there is some hidden code!”

Other Insta users only ask concerned questions, for example: “Are you okay, Britney?”
Whether the Scrabble terms in the post really contain a hidden message – or possibly even a cry for help – from the pop star cannot be said for sure. She did not respond to any comment under her post.
Either way, the Free Britney movement will continue to fight for the singer’s freedom. After all, she was able to achieve partial success in the past year and ensure that her father is no longer allowed to decide on her own business and financial matters.
Instead, the 68-year-old now has to Share guardianship with a financial trustee. Nevertheless, many of their fans are demanding that Britney Spears should finally have her own finances again.
