The Bundesliga is dressing up: the absolute top game takes place on matchday 5 when the two best teams in the republic, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, meet. For the first time, the Werkself travel as German champions to the record champions, who, however, go into the duel as league leaders.

Bayern have plowed through the season without a defeat so far, coach Vincent Kompany was able to win all of his first six competitive games with his new team. Most recently, Munich scored a whopping 20 goals in the last three games against pitiful opponents SC Freiburg, Zagreb and Werder Bremen.

The Bundesliga is primarily broadcast by two broadcasters: Sky and DAZN. The division is clearly regulated: DAZN shows the Bundesliga on Friday and Sunday. Sky presents all games on Saturday and those of the English weeks when games are played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
