Introduced in 2022, the iPhone SE was not in demand because all its features were the same as other models and its screen was small. In addition, Apple has also stated that they will end this series due to many problems.
Ming-Chi Kuo, who has done success analysis for Apple many times in the past, recently announced that the fourth-generation iPhone SE model has been delayed. Analyst Kuo announced that the additional series will be canceled entirely if the iPhone SE model is delayed, with his shares now.
Kuo used the following claims about the model in question:
My recent poll indicates that Apple may cancel or delay its plan for the iPhone SE 4, which is expected to go into mass production in 2024. That’s because shipments of entry-level iPhones continue to fall significantly short of expectations ( such as SE 3, 13 mini, 14 Plus) and the move to full screen design of SE 4 will inevitably lead to an increase in cost/sales price.
As such, Apple may need to review the product positioning and ROI of the iPhone SE 4. Additionally, reducing unnecessary spending on new product development will help the company overcome the challenges of the global economic downturn in 2023.
On the other hand, in a survey conducted in recent months, it emerged that Apple customers wanted a new form of iPhone. According to the survey, Apple customers have expressed a desire for a mini-sized iPhone other than the SE.
