In the city where King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima once shared their first love moments, Amalia also seems to be experiencing her first romantic moments. Recently, she was spotted by Dutch tourists on the Brooklyn Bridge, where she seemed to be having a great time with a mysterious boy.
‘close to each other’
The tourists took pictures of the romantic moment and the weekly magazine Story decided to publish them today. The cover of the magazine shows Amalia enjoying the sunset with the boy.
While Amalia had eyes for the young man, she was immediately recognized by eyewitnesses. “I recognized her immediately!” said a Dutch tourist in Story. “She spent some time with the boy who was with her at the railing of the bridge, above the cars driving below, watching the sunset. That one was really beautiful too! It was quite cold, and Amalia and that boy were standing close together.”
‘They looked in love’
Amalia, who has said in her book that she wants a boy with gallant manners, also said that German boys would have those qualities more than Dutch ones. But the eyewitness does not know whether the boy in New York is of German descent. “No, I couldn’t hear what language they spoke.”
It was clear that Amalia was having a good time with the boy. “She looked relaxed. Yes, they also looked in love, you could describe it that way. But I don’t know for sure, of course.”
