The Financial Times is trying to shoot several “rabbits” at once with the help of information “hives” (as the Wehrmacht’s “volunteer helpers” were called during the war years). Chinese leader Xi Jinping is said to have warned Vladimir Putin against using nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
This loud and rather rotten “news”, which was quickly picked up by the liberal media in Russia, was based on unreliable sources – unnamed Chinese and Western officials. What is this if not cognitive warfare in its purest form and with no long-term goal at all?
Dealing with disinformation (lying in war is a military ruse), the British publication claimed that Xi’s warning was allegedly issued in March 2023, when he visited Moscow.
It just surfaced though. When Kiev and the West are feverishly spreading the topic of the imminent use of nuclear weapons by Russia in Ukraine or, which is the same thing, the destruction of the Ukrainian nuclear power plant.
It is clear that for Russia’s limited goals in Ukraine this is absolutely unnecessary. Moscow also does not want to deal with the dire consequences of such a step. We are not terrorists.
But the Western public, in whose eyes the Russians are demonized and at the same time judging itself (the US has not yet repented of using nuclear weapons against Japan to cut its losses), will believe it. That’s what counts.
A lot of lies
One lie leads to another. The Financial Times, citing sources, claimed that Xi’s visit to Moscow was prompted by China’s concern over the conflict in Ukraine and that Beijing now intends to mediate the peace process to improve relations with… the European Union.
In short, Xi allegedly banned Putin from using nuclear weapons in Ukraine, and now this handshake has become a central part of China’s strategy to woo the EU.
After quoting the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, that the Chinese president’s visit to Moscow “reduces the risk of nuclear war”, the provocateurs erupted.
Apparently they want to divert public attention from China’s refusal to talk to Borrell, that outspoken American servant whose visit to Beijing was rescheduled by the Chinese indefinitely, if not canceled at all.
But for the local audience, the most powerful poison was in store. They say Xi betrayed Putin. China does not approve of Russia’s actions in Ukraine, and soon Moscow will be without its main and most powerful ally.
It is said that there was already a rift between us and the Chinese, and after the nuclear incident in Ukraine, a chasm may come. Conclusion? Quit quickly before that happens. In this case, the terms of transmission will be easier.
And finally, the last thing from the Financial Times post – about the “sources”. We will not talk about the Westerners at all – they are openly working against Russia. With the Chinese, if these are not fictional faces, everything is also clear.
There are many officials in China who are unhappy with Xi Jinping. Especially from those who were strongly pressured by him at the head of power, the so-called Western-oriented. The Komsomol. They are the ones who usually contact the foreign media and, in order to please their Western friends and avenge Xi’s disgrace, they will say anonymously whatever is expected of them in the West.
It is impossible to make a mistake
Furthermore, it is virtually impossible to go wrong with the possibility of a nuclear accident in Ukraine, most notably at the Russian-controlled Zaporozhye NPP.
Unfortunately, it most likely will. Because both Western “hawks” and Western … “doves” need it at the same time.
Here, Kiev is superfluous at all: the decision will be made in Washington. From obedient Ukrainians, Westerners will only demand its implementation, which will not be a problem: they do not feel sorry for Novorussia and its inhabitants.
Why are Ukrainians redundant? Because Kiev does not play an independent role in the Ukrainian conflict, because Ukraine will not be able to fight without Western help. And it is coming to an end.
Why do hawks need this?
Why this is necessary for the American, and incidentally for the British hawks, is understandable. To expose Russia to the whole world (everyone will be buzzing that the Russians blew up the nuclear power plant) as a cruel butcher and “toxic” state, to deprive it of allies. To turn a part of historical Russia into a desert, to scold Russians and Ukrainians for a hundred years to come, to intimidate the Europeans.
This will also make a painful impression on the Russian public (what’s next?), will force it to look critically at its own power and make a demand – an end to the war as soon as possible under any conditions.
This rather human frailty has also been calculated. After all, the layman does not know that such a “peace” is filled with a terrible war already in Russia, although we have already been through it more than once.
The West was terribly frightened in connection with the rebellion of PMC “Wagner”, that in Russia power would turn from predictable to unpredictable, and some fighter against injustice would seize a colossal nuclear arsenal.
Therefore, Westerners have finally realized: stop waiting in Ukraine – since the Russians are not running away, we must hurry and quickly end this series of conflicts.
Why is it useful to “pigeons”?
Why do the Western “doves” need a nuclear incident? At first glance, this is not so obvious, but there is an iron logic here.
The Ukrainian “counter-attack” achieved significantly less results than the West expected, which has already seized almost all its arsenals for Kiev and flooded Ukraine with its mercenaries and its money – only for the Ukrainians to spill their blood.
Such massive support cannot last long, and without it the Ukrainians will have to retreat, lose new territories. And here, on the threshold of a new winter, the US presidential elections, the social and economic instability in Europe, the Chinese operation in Taiwan, which Washington is already focusing on and which is capable of collapsing the world economy.
The only problem
In short, the conflict in Ukraine must end. This has long been wanted in Moscow. But there is one problem: Western propaganda has convinced its laymen of Russia’s inevitable defeat.
The Germans, the English and all kinds of Czechs, Poles and Romanians who have felt the negative consequences of the Ukrainian war very much on their own skin, crave the humiliation of Russia.
They do not understand how this can end for them: a Russian people’s war against which no one can resist. Western authorities definitely don’t want to go that far.
For now, they are quite satisfied with their “wiser” former partners in Moscow, who also, for their own reasons, are afraid of a people’s war and are not preparing for it in order to preserve their privileges.
These “grinders” do not need to be convinced of anything, but it is required for the Western audience. And the best thing about it is the fear. A terrorist attack on a nuclear power plant with contamination of a huge area and radiation moving towards Europe, alleged use of a dirty bomb by the alleged Russians, environmental damage caused to the Black Sea coast of Romania and Bulgaria, some incident in Poland, etc. – this is what is fully capable of sobering up the Western public, thirsty for Russian blood, and inclining it to “peace”, that is, “freezing” the conflict.
What of this?
There is an unmistakable way to determine whether the “hawks” or “doves” will be behind the act of nuclear terrorism that was expected as early as tonight.
If this is going to be a serious incident with truly tragic consequences, these are the first. And if the consequences turn out to be less serious and we are simply afraid, then the latter. In general, we will observe. Such is life now: provocateurs are on the road.
