We are an important company in the agro-export sector, dedicated to the cultivation and processing of citrus and grapes for export. Requirements:
– Professional in Agricultural and Hydraulic Engineering.
– 04 years of experience in similar positions.
– Specific experience in citrus and grapevines (desirable)
Knowledge:
– Fertilizer management (mini-equivalents), unit conversion.
– Irrigation system design, maintenance.
– Basic knowledge of grape and citrus phenomenology and foliar analysis.
– Knowledge of BPA and Global Gap.
– Reading of probes, tdr and foliar analysis.
– Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office at an intermediate level.
Main Functions:
– Efficiently prepare, execute and manage the area’s annual budget and report on area cost control and processes.
– Execute, monitor and supervise compliance with irrigation plans, perform tabulations, compatibility mixtures and fertilizer health.
– Develop, execute and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of irrigation systems.
– Train staff in the management of irrigation and fertigation systems, and in good agricultural practices related to the use of systems, water and fertilizers.
– Programming and supervising the daily activities of the team in charge.
– Constantly monitor EC in crop fields.
– Make monthly requests for supplies and/or materials to meet the processes and objectives.
– Control the record of groundwater exploitation.
– Monitor foliar analysis of different crops.
– Carry out installations and/or modifications to the hydraulic system where appropriate.
– Supervising the installation of the irrigation system in expansion projects.
– Preparation and presentation of periodic reports to management and supervisory authorities.
– Others designated by your immediate supervisor.
