The concert was warmed up by the young singer Keitija Bārbale, who a week earlier at the Latvian Music Record of the Year Award ceremony received the “Golden Microphone” as the best “indie” and alternative music author for the album “Akmens dievs”.
The “Iron Wolf” album “Jauni” was released under the auspices of “Upe tuviem und tālis” and was created after a long creative silence. It was recorded in collaboration with studio producers Gati Zaķi and Aldi Zaļuksni, and was nominated for the “Golden Microphone” award in 2023.
The album “Jauni” consists of ten song stories, which include the compositions “Tās dël nav beigas” and “Glazes” already well known to the listeners of “Iron Wolf”, as well as “Iron Wolf”‘s freshest singles – “Tu negaiji rītus” and “Ir”.
Digitally, the album “Jauni” was released at the end of 2022, but it will be available in CD format from February 25.
