The group “Iron Wolf” releases the single “Vēls pavasars” together with a lyric video, which for the first time in the history of the group uses artificial intelligence, which brings to life an unusual fantasy about an iron wolf.
The song “Vēls pavasars” is the final single from “Dzelzs vilks” latest studio album “Jauni”. “Vēls pavasars” is the longest song of the album “Jauni”, reveals the author of the song’s music and words, Juris Kaukulis. “During four waits, at least nine versions were recorded for it with different producers. For example, the audience of “Dzelzs vilka” Vislatvia concert tour cheered for the acoustic version of the song. The current version of the “Vēls pavasars” album, created together with studio producer Gati Zaķi, was the result of heated discussions and long thoughts, so now it seems that the encompassing energy accumulated in it is suitable to close the “Jauni” song cycle,” adds the musician.
“For me, “Vēls pavasars” is a song about a world in which spring always comes, but the rhymes of winter cannot be completely erased,” said Juris Kaukulis.
For the first time in video production, the group agreed to try out the inexhaustible resources of artificial intelligence, triggered by human imagination. The lyric video was created by the creative association “AR”, using artificial intelligence applications to create its own story. “The video is a fantasy about the feeling of the world at this moment, which can be compared to the battles of the apocalypse, while being full of hope,” the video’s creators describe.
“Iron Wolf” album “Jauni” was released at the end of 2022. “Jauni” is currently out on CD and LP, as well as streaming on major streaming sites, where the album has already racked up over a million streams. The album “Jauni” has been nominated for the “Zelta mikrofons” award, its singles “It’s not over yet”, “Glaze”, “Tu negīdīji rītus”, “Ir” have been among the most played songs on radio stations several times.
