“Iron Wolf” releases a new song “Glasses”, as well as offers an impressive music video

“Glasses” is a single from the upcoming studio album “Iron Wolf”, which the band plans to release on its 30th anniversary, in 2021.

“The chords, melody and lyrics of the song appeared at the same time, in one explosion, stroking the acoustic guitar alone,” reveals the author of the song’s music and lyrics Juris Kaukulis.

“I played it in some of my own solo performances, but I didn’t leave the feeling that there was something more powerful in the song. The conditions of isolation this spring and summer were grateful for growing the existing one with a more electric and heavier dose of sound, and this was put in front of the group members.

Not without hot discussions, “Glasses” were shot in the audiography of “Iron Wolf”, and I hope they will find a place in fan players as well. Probably someone will listen to the intimate core of the song they got to know in the acoustic concerts, but another will appreciate the new sound and story, ”Juris Kaukulis continues.

The song also includes the most impressive music video of “Iron Wolf” so far, filmed both in Latvia and in neighboring Lithuania, as well as for the first time using the services of a stuntman.

In the creation of the video, “Iron Wolf” collaborates with the new director and cameraman Reini Januli (“Colortime”), video producer and screenwriter – Aija Kaukule. Cast: actress Samira Adgezalova and members of the group “Iron Wolf”: Juris Kaukulis, Kaspars Tobis, Mārcis Judzis and Kārlis Alviķis.
