Irish priest unintentionally plays rap music during a live stream

Rap-Genre

Meanwhile, fans of the hip-hop genre are in every age group – whether small or large. In recent years, many have turned their focus to the rap genre and amazingly this trend is not only recognizable in terms of fans – but also in signings.

A few years ago, a number of young rappers were made – such as Data Luv, Lil Shrimp and Agir. These young artists have already proven their skills several times – Data Luv even with collaboration tracks on which his label boss Ufo361 could be heard.

Rap in the church

No one would have expected the rap genre to find its way into church – but an Irish priest made it possible, even if it wasn’t exactly wanted. When Father Pat of Kincasslagh and Burtonport Parish in Co. Donegal began his inaugural blessing on Wednesday morning, there was a surprise for livestream viewers.

All of a sudden there was rap music to be heard. The following lines could be heard at full volume: “Okay, it’s black the ripper!” – which interrupted the pastor at his opening blessing. However, Father Pat played off the glitch brilliantly. After three or four seconds, the priest managed to turn off the music.

Then he started giggling and said, “Black the ripper – a little rap in the morning, wake you up!” And continued with the opening blessing. The Kincasslagh community Facebook page later shared the tap of the glitch – and that clip ultimately went viral.

More surprisingly, the church released the song “Young Prophet” by the rapper Samson (aka “Black the Ripper”), who mysteriously passed away last year, when the official “opening anthem” was released that morning – more awesome Move!
