WARTAKOTALIVE.COM, JAKARTA – Soap opera and film actor Ammar Zoni is in police custody after being arrested again by the police, Wednesday (8/3/2023).
Ammar Zoni was arrested by the police after being suspected of possessing and abusing narcotics of the methamphetamine type.
Ammar Zoni and two of his colleagues were arrested by the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Research Unit at his home, Sentul area, Babakan Madang, Bogor Regency, West Java.
Since Ammar Zoni was arrested, it is known that the soap opera player Irish Bella has not visited her husband.
“(Irish Bella) Not tomorrow yet,” said South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (10/3/2023) evening.
Elza Syarief, lawyer for Ammar Zoni, said that Irish Bella had not met AmmarZoni in police custody.

“Maybe because there are small children, it’s not yet tomorrow,” said Elza Syarief.
Aditya Zoni, Ammar Zoni’s younger brother, did not comment on why his brother-in-law had not visited him.
Currently, Ammar Zoni and two of his friends have been named as suspects in cases of suspected possession and abuse of narcotics.
“Three people have been named as suspects, namely M, RH and MAA alias AZ,” said Ade Ary Syam Indradi.
They become suspects after without rights or against the law possessing, storing or controlling class one non-plant narcotics.
The police secured evidence from the three suspects, in the form of 2 clear plastic clips containing methamphetamine weighing 1.04 grams and a number of cellphones.

The drugs were purchased from Kampung Boncos, Palmerah, West Jakarta, for IDR 1.5 million
Ammar Zoni’s urine test results also tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine.
Ammar Zoni and the two suspects were charged with Article 112 paragraph 1, a subsidiary of Article 127 paragraph 1 of the Narcotics Law, which carries a penalty of 4-12 years in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion.
Previously, Ammar Zoni was arrested by the police in connection with a case of possession and abuse of narcotics at his house, Pesona Khayangan, Sukmajaya, Depok, West Java, on July 7 2017.
At that time the police confiscated 39.1 grams of dry marijuana and a white paper packet containing dried marijuana leaves belonging to Irish Bella’s husband.
Ammar Zoni was sentenced to a year’s rehabilitation on November 23, 2017.
