On November 5, 2018, Irena Dziedzic died. The legendary announcer of Public Television was only buried a few months later, because there was no one to organize the funeral. The deceased journalist spent the last years of her life in solitude. The circumstances of his departure were so mysterious that the prosecution initiated an investigation.
The circumstances of the death of Irena Dziedzic
The day after the death of Irena Dziedzic, an investigation into the circumstances of her departure began. The announcer was the owner of an apartment in Warsaw’s Saska Kêpa, which she decided to rewrite to Bogdan G. In return for the real estate, the man was to pay the journalist a salary, but the contract did not cover the costs of the funeral services. Moreover, it turned out that Irena Dziedzic had over 700,000 zlotys in debts. It has been speculated that third parties may have contributed to the journalist’s death. Now “Fakt” has determined that the District Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw has discontinued the investigation in this case.
After assessing the evidence gathered in the investigation, it was found that the journalist’s death was not due to possible actions of third parties, but natural causes, said the prosecutor’s spokesman in an interview with “Fakt”.
It was said that Irena Dziedzic might have been poisoned with medications, but the latest findings show that this was not true.
The presence of drugs was detected during the toxicological tests. Their content in the blood and the body of the victim indicated that these were medications taken for medical purposes, in amounts recommended by doctors. These substances did not contribute to the victim’s death – adds the spokesman in an interview with the tabloid.
Irena Dziedzic died at the age of 93.
