Iraq moves to attack Israel as Middle East becomes more vulnerable

The Middle East is in turmoil after airstrikes kill Israel I am in Lebanon. Iraq they also moved to retaliate against Israel through the Anti-Islamic Group in Iraq which launched an attack on Israel’s Red Sea Port of Eliat.

“The Islamic Resistance in Iraq attacked strategic targets in Eilat on Wednesday using drones,” he said in a statement published on Telegram.

At the same time, the Israeli military said that they caught a drone approaching Eilat and that another one happened in the area. They said two people were slightly injured.

As is known, the head of the Israeli army, General Herzi Halevi, said that the air attack on Lebanon prepared the way for a possible ground attack. He has told the Israeli army that airstrikes in Lebanon will continue to destroy Hezbollah’s infrastructure and pave the way for a possible ground attack.

“You can hear fighter jets overhead; we have been attacking all day,” General Herzi told soldiers on the border with Lebanon, according to a statement from the army, reported by AlJazeera, on Wednesday (25/9).

“This is to prepare the way for your possible entry and to continue reducing Hezbollah,” he said.

Meanwhile, Hezbollah says this is a war of calculation. They have been preparing for a possible land invasion since 2006. They have always said they are ready for any situation.

The leader of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, was very clear in his speech a few days ago, saying that if Israel tries to put a buffer zone in southern Lebanon, they will fail.

In the last few minutes, at least two airstrikes were heard. The Israeli army announced that they were advancing on the province of Nabatieh. During the evening, there was an air raid.

Reportedly, two things happened in Lebanon: First, offensive airstrikes took place – designed to weaken Hezbollah’s infrastructure.

Then there was a reactive air attack – a series of Hezbollah rockets were heard entering Israel, about 15-20 minutes later, air attacks were seen in the area.
