(Reuters) – The Iraqi Trade Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that Iraq had bought 150,000 tons of wheat from Australia.

According to preliminary estimates of European dealers, they believe that the General Company for Grain Trade, the government agency concerned with buying grain in Iraq, bought about 150,000 tons of wheat, expected to be of Australian origin, in an international tender on Wednesday.
