Tehran:Six candidates will compete within the June 28 presidential election after Iran’s President, Ibrahim Raisi, was killed in a helicopter crash. Most of it’s ultra-conservative. 80 individuals submitted their nominations for the presidential election. Six of them had been chosen by the Guardian Council, which oversees Iran’s elections, the Inside Ministry stated. Conservatives embody Vice President Amirhossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi, Speaker of Parliament Mohammad Baghar Ghalibaf, former spokesman for the nuclear program Saeed Jalil, former Inside Minister Mustafa Pormohammadi, and Excessive -Tehran mayor Alireza Sakani. With them, Masoud Peseshkian, a reformist member of parliament from Tabriz, can also be operating.
