Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi again today issued threats to Israel during a military parade in Tehran that marked Army Day, the Associated Press reported, quoted by BTA.
Raisi did not criticize Saudi Arabia, with which Iran is seeking to smooth relations.
“Our enemies, especially the Zionist regime, have received a message that even the slightest action against our country will provoke a harsh response from our armed forces, which will include the destruction of Haifa and Tel Aviv,” Raisi said.
“Our armed forces cordially lend a hand to the countries in the region that want to create security,” he added.
Iran and Saudi Arabia last month, brokered by China, agreed to restore diplomatic ties and reopen embassies after seven years of strained relations.
