Iran’s Bold Response to Israel: The Secrets Behind the Decision

Iran has established a new reality in the region, based on its boldness in responding to Israel. The issue cannot be measured by the calculation of human and material losses. Instead, it is based on the fact that Iran sent drones and missiles across the borders of several countries, some of which reached the two targets identified by Tehran: the air base from which the F-35 planes were launched floated in the Negev, and the Israeli intelligence center in Mount Hermon, which provided information to these aircraft, to target the Iranian consulate in Damascus. In addition, the demonstration of Iranian drones in the airspace of the region aimed to create a media resonance to serve Iran’s decision.

Why? What are the secrets of this decision?

The story began when Israel wanted to stop Tehran from occupying Tel Aviv on the Iraqi, Yemeni, and Lebanese fronts, and Syrian logistical support, during the war on Gaza. Tel Aviv targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus, which was attended by the officer in the Revolutionary Guards responsible for the Lebanese and Syrian files. Israel could have targeted him when he moved from Damascus airport to Mezzeh, but he intended to inflict moral damage on Iran.

Tel Aviv did not expect a response from Iran as a result of the strike. Instead, the Israelis believed that Tehran would continue with “strategic patience,” or that it would be forced to step in to stop a disturbance with Israel on the aforementioned references.

But the Iranians studied the measure a lot, and they carried out a psychological war against the Israelis, while they were negotiating with the Americans, through the Sultanate of Oman, and they made the joint close response within the framework of Iranian state calculations, and not revolutionary. Iran.

Tehran succeeded in its psychological warfare, to the extent that Israel lived through difficult days, which reached, during Iran’s reaction, the complete paralysis of the state of Israel, which stopped its airports, economic activity, and aspects of life inside him, for a period of hours.

Iran committed the country to the Americans to a formula: a strong response without harm. Tehran did not target civilians, Israeli installations, ports or airports, or superstructures or infrastructure. Instead, he targeted a military airport responsible for the consulate strike, and an intelligence center for targeting an Iranian official, and nothing else.

Secretly, Iran used drones and missiles that were not the latest, but became those typical types, in an air show operation, the time of which was determined by the countries, and they left a key- Western offices to monitor their path, to monitor the Americans, the British and the French, while they shot down most of them, intending to use the missiles they wanted to deliver it by targeting that air base and intelligence center only.

Here the importance of Iran’s desire to respond is highlighted, not to open a war, but rather the real possibilities that Israel will not be able to defend itself without the intervention of the Americans in particular. If Iran wanted to do harm and start a war, it could have sent more effective drones and faster, more accurate and more destructive missiles. Or he sent these marches from nearby places, and assigned friends to carry out their effective mission. But Tehran wanted to work alone, and within the precise controls set by the Iranian state, in a calculated process that the Americans read well.

In secret, the Americans knew in advance through the Swiss and Omanis that the answer would not be open and that it would not cause a party with its obligations.

The Arab countries reacted sensibly to Iran’s behavior. In particular, the position of the Gulf countries was neutral, confirming that the capitals of the Gulf wanted to keep the agreement with Iran on a good neighborhood, and to maintain economic, security and political cooperation. The dimensions of the United Arab Emirates statement on the need to end tensions can be read. The Saudis confirmed that they were not interfering and how much they loved relations with Tehran.

So what?

Iran was able to confront the Americans that it is a real regional power, and that it is ready for all events, but it wishes not to increase and control on the stability of the region, however, the problem is the Israeli attack against Gaza. If Tel Aviv wants to continue its war in Rafah, it will not reach a result, due to Palestinian stability in that region, able to repel the Israeli attack. Note that the Americans, British and French, who stood by Israel and destroyed Iranian drones and missiles, do not accept Israel’s move in Rafah internationally, because a million and a half of Palestinian civilians, who cannot be left to their fate. fire or movement.

So, Israel now faces a bitter reality: a decision to defend America will not allow Rafah to be crushed. The only decision that will ask him again is to accept the reality of the American-Iranian negotiations.

We will wait until Israel’s path is clear, due to Western pressure that will increase after Iran’s response.
