Police fish out Iranian woman from border traffic in Zinnwald without a passport

On Saturday, police officers carried out mobile checks in the Freital-Dippoldiswalde area and on the A17. In total, they checked 59 vehicles and 86 people. The police are now investigating a woman on suspicion of illegal entry. Officials checked a van on the K9033 between Zinnwald-Georgenfeld and Geising. There were five Iranian and two Saudi Arabian nationals in the car. An Iranian woman could not show a passport. Since the woman’s identity could not be established beyond doubt, she was handed over to the federal police. A total of 46 officers were on duty.
Firecrackers set off on the playground in Tharandt
Unknown people set off firecrackers in a playground on Birkenweg in the health resort of Hartha (Tharandt) on Sunday evening. There was damage of around 1,000 euros to playground equipment. The police are investigating, among other things, causing an explosive explosion.
Tire damaged in Pirna-Copitz
On Sunday morning, unknown people damaged an Opel Astra in a parking lot on Schillerstrasse in Pirna-Copitz. The perpetrators slashed the wheels of the car and caused property damage worth around 400 euros. The police are investigating property damage.
Windows smashed in Stolpen
Unknown people broke a window at a school on Pirnaer Landstrasse in Stolpen at the weekend. They left property damage amounting to around 500 euros.
Hohnstein: Driver under the influence of alcohol drove off the road
On Monday night, a Renault Clio came off the S156 in Hohnstein. The 52-year-old driver was under the influence of alcohol. A witness alerted the police because a man was walking along the state road towards Neustadt and a car was parked in the forest. The officers found the Renault and the 52-year-old, who had presumably previously driven the car. A breath alcohol test on the man showed a level of around 2.8 per mille. There was no damage to the car or the trees. The officers arranged for a blood sample to be taken and confiscated the man’s driver’s license. The German is now being investigated for drunk driving.
Drivers without a license in Heidenau
Police officers from the Pirna district stopped a 36-year-old driver in Heidenau on Saturday evening who was driving without a license. The patrol officers stopped a VW Lupo on the main street for a traffic stop. The 36-year-old behind the wheel was unable to produce a driver’s license. The police officers prohibited the driver from continuing their journey and filed the corresponding complaint against the Russian citizen.
Drunk driving stopped in Freital-Dippoldiswalde
Police officers from the Freital-Dippoldiswalde district checked three drunken drivers over the weekend.
A 34-year-old man has to answer for drunk driving in Freital-Potschappel after a police stop.
On Saturday evening, police officers checked a VW Golf on Dresdner Straße. A breath alcohol test on the 34-year-old showed a level of over 1.3 per mille. The officers arranged for a blood sample to be taken and secured the German’s driver’s license.
Since Saturday afternoon, the police have been investigating a 42-year-old for driving under the influence of alcohol. Officials checked a Renault Laguna on Dresdner Straße in Freital-Hainsberg. A breath alcohol test showed the 42-year-old driver had a blood alcohol level of more than 0.8 per mille.
On Sunday morning, police officers checked a Dacia Logan on Wilsdruffer Straße in Freital-Hainsberg. A breath alcohol test on the 39-year-old showed a level of over 0.6 per mille.
Freital-Deuben: E-scooters stopped without insurance
Officials from the Freital-Dippoldiswalde district stopped an e-scooter in Freital-Deuben on Saturday evening and discovered that the 21-year-old driver was driving without insurance. The 21-year-old was driving on Bahnhofstrasse when he was stopped and checked. There were insurance license plates for 2022 on the e-scooter. The officers prepared the corresponding notice.
